Our processing plant in Mokopane, Limpopo Province was commissioned in 2025. Situated minutes away from Ironveld’s 56 million-ton magnetite ore resource, it leverages the mine’s abundant ore supply while minimising logistical cost and complexity.

Ultra-fine, high-grade iron oxide produced from iron ore with a low-risk upgrade process.
Critical in coal processing, DMS Magnetite enables efficient separation of coal from waste material through floatation-based Dense Media Separation. It is also used in a similar way in diamond and base metal beneficiation.
Sky-high demand, with ~1 million tonnes consumed annually in the South African coal industry alone.
Recyclable in processing circuits due to its magnetic properties. Much of the magnetite can be recovered and reused, making it a cost-effective and sustainable option for DMS processes.
